first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Below is a round-up of what’s going on in Wilmington on Thursday, April 26, 2018:Happening Today:Weather: A chance of showers, mainly before 11am. Areas of fog before 10am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 69. West wind 6 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.In The Community: State Rep. Jim Miceli is being waked from 1pm to 5pm and 6pm to 9pm at Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Avenue). Read his obituary HERE. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes beginning at noon due to the expected tremendous turnout. At Town Hall: An informational forum will take place at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium to provide residents with an opportunity to learn about Analog Devices’ proposal to expand their campus and their request to enter into a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) agreement with the Town. Representatives from Analog Devices and the Town will be in attendance to answer questions that residents may have about the proposal. Michael Errera, General Manager from Analog Devices, and Jeff Hull, Town Manager, will offer brief remarks between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm. There will be opportunities for one-on-one “Q & A” discussions. The forum is expected to conclude by 9:00 pm.In The Community: Do you like to sing? Do you enjoy performing? Come join the Merrimack Valley Chorus at one of its regular weekly rehearsals. You just might discover a passion for a cappella singing, and you’ll also make some great new friends!
